This step compares our current situation with our goals, spotting where performance falls short. We collect and review data from sources like performance numbers, employee feedback, and how work gets done. The aim is to uncover the main reasons behind any performance problems, whether they're due to skills, resources, the way we do things, or other reasons.

Solutions Design & Implementation

With a clear understanding of the gaps, the next step is to identify the underlying causes and identify tailored solutions that will improve performance. These solutions could range from training and development programs, process redesign, technology enhancements, to changes in management practices. The design phase should consider the feasibility, potential impact, and alignment with business goals.

Test & Improve

Finally, it's key to plan how we'll check if our solutions are working, using the agile approach of creating small, testable versions (MVPs) to see quick results. We'll set clear targets, like better performance numbers, skills improvements, and overall business gains. Our plan will also outline when to check progress and how to tweak things along the way for the best results.
